Here in the northwest 3 out of 4 people choose to build cedar fences due to their golden brownish appearance and natural ability to resist decay. We use Canadian 1x6 boards that are 3/4" or more in thickness. As contractors we pass on our savings directly to you (no up charging). We use hot dipped galvanized clips that are screwed in to the posts with 1 1/2" stainless steel screws, we use the highest quality Douglas fir rails and stainless steel staples so the wood doesn't bleed.
