A rectangular shape roof usually extending from above your backdoor and out past your patio area. Its framing consists of 2x6 0r 2x8 rafters with 2x4 or 2x6 inlays built from cedar. Usually on a 1/12 or 2/12 pitch with a 4x8 cedar beam catching the sloping end of the cover. We pour footings that accept a black vinyl coated metal bracket that accepts the cedar posts that hold up the 4x8 beam. The last thing that goes on is the corrugated vinyl cover (comes in clear, smoke, or opaque) with 2" screws that have a squish washer for 100% leak proof cover. All corrugated covers come with a gutter and a downspout and a water catch on the bottom of the downspout.
